Who are we?
Act of Giving is an all-volunteer organization of members who pool their contributions to make a bigger impact in our donations to nonprofits. We are a proactive giving community, open to anyone, and building on shared values and the desire to drive positive change.
And! Act of Giving is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
Since 2003, Act of Giving has gifted over $600,000 in grants.

Get Involved
There are many ways to get involved with Act of Giving. As a starting point, you may wish to attend an event to meet us and learn more about how we implement our mission.
Grant Process
Our grant making process makes Act of Giving unique and is exciting for contributors who wish to get actively involved in the foundation’s efforts.
Events
With the annual theme identified, our grants committee pulls together resources around the topic and holds a kickoff meeting for all members (and anyone interested in learning more) to discuss nonprofits that are working to improve conditions in this area.
